I suppose some people feel that the f1rst post in a brand new blog should be something monumental, stimulating or inspiring.
I’ll simply share this…
It came out today that apparently the way a dog wags it’s tail is indicative of it’s mood. If the dog wags the tail primarily to it’s right then it’s a happy dog that is glad to see you. If the dog wags it’s tail primarily to the left, it might be a dog that is approaching you with caution, unsure of who you are or what you are up to.
I tried it with our own dogs today. My wife and I took turns calling the miniature dachshund. When I called him there was indeed a bit more right side wagging….I’m his favorite adult. When my wife called him there was a bit more of a left side wag…she’s definitely the one that disciplines him more often for peeing on the furniture or leaving various presents on the carpet.
What about the Jack Russell Terrier you ask? Well she just has a stub of a tail so the results were quite inconclusive.
Yaay…f1rst post is complete!
