Yep, another Toledo Blogger here, though I actually live in Ottawa Hills and blog about Nevis, West Indies.

It is fun to see what is happening locally, especially when the only newspaper in town is The Toledo Bland......ermm, I mean The Toledo Blade.

Thanks for the local tidbits

Thanks for the comments everyone, I appreciate that you take to time to leave a note. :)

I should explore the Irish Hills. I've been up there a couple times for races at MIS but then have always headed for home right afterward.

P.S. Enjoyed your photos and videos, particularly the Waterville and GR flooding. Didn't realize how bad it was.

I'm always extremely pleased to find another blogger / photo / video blogger in the area. We need more.

"Stupid glacier, couldn’t even leave one decent hill."

Lol! I hear you there. I'm from Monroe, MI.

You know what's funny. I go and ride down the Maumee to GR for the hills!

So stop complaining. :)

Just imagine you were living in SE Ohio... you'd probably get really really really sick of the hills.

As it is you can just drive/ride due north to the irish hils. Lots and lots of beauitiful hills.

I highly recommend 295 due north. Was just down there last Monday and I must say that is an AWESOME ride when you have a little bit of wind at your back. Nothing like cruising at 27-30 mph for 7 or 8 straight miles. You might say, it's almost like going downhill. ;)

Please don't blame the glaciers for the flatness 'round these parts. I'm originally from Cleveland and the glaciers carved out some huge valleys there. Actually your living on an ancient sea bed.

The advantage to flat terrain - better gasoline mileage. With the price of fuel - you gotta love it.
Flatness is actually "green".
